On March 5, EcoRich visited the NYC Parks Department’s Citywide Services Complex on Randalls Island to interview Max Lerner, the department's Sustainability Project Development Coordinator. It was a chilly day, but that did not cool Max's enthusiasm or his praise for his EcoRich ER-20, the 20 pounds a day commercial food waste composter.
